ID this old Omega

I inherited a wonderful vintage Omega from my grandfather and have the hardest time tracking down a serial number.

Has anyone seen this watch before? Assuming it's from the 30s, 40s, or 50s? Big range I know :)

There is an Omega boutique in Chicago brother, stop in and show it to them. It's a company owned store, so they will be very nice and helpful I'm sure.

I would say late 40's early 50's.
Most Omega's do not have a name, just a reference number.

The reference number should be located on the inside back of the case.
If you get the serial number off of the movement, you should be able to date the watch to within a couple of years.

You would be able to get an official report from Omega if it is a meaningful heirloom in your family.

https://www.omegawatches.com/custome...f-the-archives

But even to order an extract you’ll need to have it opened up and get all the pertinent data.

Contact Omega Enthusiast on Instagram or email. He’ll definitely have information about your grandfathers Omega!
