Imposter sending scam emails using my handle and pretending to be me!
If you receive an email from Victor Cepa <vicsdca@gmail.com>, this is not me. This is not my email address and my last name is not Cepa.
In doubt, please PM me on TRF. Many thanks to Dan (ippon20) for bringing this to my attention! It seems the imposter uses the "who's who" section to know who has sold watches to whom. Apparently, I'm not the only one who has been targeted. Be careful everyone! The scam message may look like this: Hey, How are you? I'm emailing you because I ran into some awesome deals on a few watches and was wondering if you would be interested at all. I have a stainless steel Daytona 116520 black face V serial in mint condition for only $12k It's a great price on a great watch, I'm helping my brother in law find a buyer for them as he's wanting to unload a few of his pieces. It has a complete set of box and papers and includes extra links. Also selling for him is a AP 26170ST Panda dial like new and complete for $14k and a Rolex Submariner 116610LN like new and complete for $8k If your interested let me know. I'm emailing a few friends and past customers of mine to see if there interested before listing these watches. Regards, Victor |
