I gave my 3 year old son his first “Rolex”.

Thought you all might find this amusing. He absolutely loves playing with my watches. More times than not, he’s taking it off my wrist when we’re relaxing. We have an agreement the Rolex’s stay on the couch. Even flips through some of my AD books.

Here’s a little diamond bezel citizen for him to thrash about. He’s so excited for his “Rolex”.

Little does he know the sub41 date is already his, I’m just going to wear it for a while .

Got this book and read it to my 2 year old daughter every once in a while.

The funny thing is that my daughter definitely realizes the watch is a special "thing" that "dada" wears. When I ask her what time it is she holds her wrist up and pretends to be reading a watch dial. Proud Dad moment. Lol

Nothing further from the truth! If I’m watching F1 or golf he points out the Rolex sponsorship boards. There’s no going back now. Haha

My AD also gave him a hat lol.

I guess the moral of the story is that kids absorb everything for good and bad.

He sees my affinity for these things and picked it up. Happy to welcome him to the club in due time. Thanks everyone for playing along. I read him all the comments. Y’all made his night.

From age 3 he associates "watch" with "Rolex" unequivocally. I'd say that is effective marketing on multiple levels:

You are so passionate about the watches that your son can't help but become excited about them, too. And now, he recognizes them increasingly when he sees them out there.
