An insurance company will naturally require the correct documentation and information.

I insured my new Pepsi with JM--no issues at all. Matter of fact, the premium came in cheaper than AAA (not sure that's really saying much though...). Also, I opted for zero deductible.

Was the app to take pictures sent to you to download via text? Was the link to some vision app or something similar?

I applied for a policy and it was denied, with no explanation whatsoever. Credit score in the 820's, live alone, monitored alarm system with lots of cameras, and watches stored in a safe. My homeowners insurance has skyrocketed from all of the hurricane and tropical storm flooding in Houston, even though my immediate area doesn't flood. I had one homeowners claim around 14 years ago for for around $12k when a hurricane blew in a window and did some damage, and that's the only thing I can think of that might have caused them to deny my application. Very irritating and had to add them to my homeowners policy, which was 2x the initial quote I got from JM.

They have really started tightening their guidelines for Rolex. Clearly your credit score is not the issue.
I can’t see that claim being the issue either. Usually carriers only hold a claim against you for 3-5 years, closer to the 3 years.
May have something to do more with your area rather than you. They may have red lined that area due to recent claim history in general. Carriers do things like that all the time. They just won’t admit it.

When I insured my watches the insurance company required the serial numbers, photo copies of the sales receipt, photos of the watches, and the warranty cards with the serial numbers clear in the photo, this is to prevent fraud and false insurance claims, its standard practice and nothing to worry about.
