The dial looks flat and uninspiring. AP should have used a tappiserried or lacquered dial. Otherwise, it's a nice watch for sure.

I'd rather this over the tapisserie; there's too much going on to have a complex/intricate dial. Laquer, I could get on board with.

Great review!

Just saw this watch won the “AIGUILLE D’OR”, nice to see them trying to take the risk and innovate on the perpetual calendar mechanism that is so entrenched in tried and true traditional methods.
