AP ROO Navy

Bought my first AP last week, I have several Rolex and will not pay silly grey market price to add to the collection

I bought the Navy edition with white face, for less than half retail, 4 years old
there doesn't seem to be much love for this watch?

I think it is absolutely stunning but then I am a blue fan
(Rolex YG sub blue face, TT sub blue face already in the collection)

just wondered what peoples thoughts were on the popularity of the Navy?

Doesn't matter what anyone thinks, as long as you like the watch.

Getting an AP for less than what most ss Rolex go for these days is a good move in my opinion.

Enjoy and wear it in good health.

Heres my ROO and i love it.

If you like it wear it, what other people think or like should not be a major factor.

That said, if you look back a few threads for popular offshores two stick out: The Pride of Germany and The Beast. One is a black ceramic with rose gold accents 44mm other is a42mm steel blue dial with baton hands, the original version of the offshore.

Firstly, Congrats!! I also have the white Navy and it is absolutely gorgeous. One of my favorite pieces and quite unique for a ROO since you rarely see a white dial nowadays.

Here’s mine. Not sure why it’s not that popular as I think it’s one of the nicest amongst classic ROOs.

I loved the original Navy, but cant compare now with the newer versions with the updated pushers and the visible movement. IMO

Lovely watch!!
Here's my Navy on bracelet..
I do wish AP make a smaller version at 40mm
but retain the look.
