This is a genuine Rolex

Hi,

Can anyone verify whether if this is genuine Rolex female watch? As you can see, the bracelet was replaced with gold chain.

This watch has been with me since 1974 after my dad passed away. I was only 16 and kept it ever since, not sure what to do with it.

Appreciate!

Jerry Lim

Not up on old rolex flip the back of and look at movement can’t see why it’s not genuine though.

I don’t think they made fakes in 1974

Made fakes well before that.

Looks good. That gold is real, could be 9ct, 14ct or 18ct. Watch looks like it is dated from likely the 1940s or 50s. Nice vintage piece.

Hi, You are probably correct. My dad came from China in 1932 (around 18 years old) to work in Indonesia and Malaya Borneo. Besides this watch, there were many old coins, some dated back a century old. Thanks!
