Icon20 Finally joining the AP family!

Have been on the wait list in early Oct. Got a call couple days ago from an AD, they said my watch is ready!

Still a bit hesitating to pull the trigger after the call as i wanna keep my money to desperately wait for my holy grail -- the 15202, but the one available now was not (tho it's the second place on my list).

Finally i decided to visit the AD the next day. Tried it, loved it, took it home, and now i so excited for joining the AP family

i know im leaving you guys hanging, so here u go my first AP - 38mm 26315 in panda dial!!

i kinda like to use the stop second as my second hand cuz i dun like it stay still at 12. Wonder if it is weird to do that lol.

Congrats! My fav 38mm as well!
You don’t get to start with the 15202...that would be cheating! ;)

Congrats! Out of curiosity, did you have an existing relationship with the AD? I would love one of these but figured I would need to go grey.

Thanks all!! i cant help staring at the dial all the time!

anyone would always turn on the chrono function so that the big second hand will move? is it weird to do that
cuz I dun particularly like the big second hand to sit still on 12 mark. i want the "running" feel on my watch.

Congrats on a beautiful watch!! Not sure of the design of this chrono. I know with Daytonas and speedmasters its ok to run the stop seconds as a seconds hand. Something to do with vertical clutch. Im sure someone more knowledgeable than myself will chime in...

I asked the sales rep and she said i can do that but the power will runs out quickly. So i guess maybe the design allows us to do that.

I dun think im the only one to use the stop second as the second hand lmao. Pretty sure someone in this forum would hv the answer tho haha.

You can run the chrono permanently without worry due to the fact that it has a vertical clutch. It should not affect the power reserve noticeably either, so I think your sales rep was wrong about that.

so AP uses vertical clutch on their chrono? would it speed up the wear-and-tear of ur watch if u run the chrono 24/7

Great watch. That would be my second choice as well behind the 202.
