Just some of what I love about my LHD:

Beige-ish lume treatment (the white on the other Pelagos' seems too bright to me -- but that is just by comparison)
Titanium all over
Unusual, interesting bracelet design (self-adjusting for diver's)
Funky dual color 'Roulette' date wheel
No distracting Cyclops
In-house superb movement
70 hour power reserve
Keeps time as well as any of my Rolex
Wider hands and larger indices make it an easier 'read' - especially at night
BEZEL FULLY LUMED !!!

. . . . it's as if Tudor examined a Rolex Submariner and said "How can we modernize this thing?"

No knocks against the Submariner (I love them too,) it is just that the Pelagos line is so well thought out and implemented. No doubt a true future classic.

I agree. A great pair to own. I'll go a step further, since there is still some people in the "but it's just a Tudor" camp, if the Pelagos had a Rolex logo and cost 4x as much, I'd still buy it.

Pelagos is an attractive watch, but just too big in my opinion. Shame, because I like the titanium no-nonsense look.

I walked into my AD yesterday wearing my 36DJ and went right over to the Tudor display. Tried on the Pelagos and was really impressed. I was expecting it to be to large and heavy but the Titanium makes the watch so light and comfortable. I'm guessing it weighs less than my 36DJ. I have 7.5" wrists and I thought it looked great. I really dislike large watches, I find them uncomfortable. I prefer the cream colored lume but it's only offered on their left hand model, dont have a diver and this is now on my radar.

I own a Hulk, No Date Sub, and Pelagos. I like the matte face and the lume much better on the Pelagos. They all get about equal time. My Pelagos does get more beater duty than the others...

Agree on the "beater duty" point. It takes it well.

I love my Subs, and SD43, but my Pelagos is the most legit dive watch I own. Shame, but It is pretty much the only watch I take with me when I am doing adventurous (tool watch) activities.

I love the form, function and value represented by my blue Pelagos. The design elements and titanium make it a thoroughly modern piece. It generally shares equal time with my 16710, 16600, and 116610LV. It’s the perfect tool watch, and is my go-to for vacations and any “hard duty” activities.

My 2 liner says hello
Btw I find the 13.5mm thickness absolutely bang on this 25500
And as said before if this peace had a Rolex logo on it with the titanium case and bracelet add to that some polishing like a sd43 for eg. And people would go crazy on this one.
I have a couple of divers and a hulk and a yacht master 40 blue.
And let me tell you this watch is on another level.

Agreed, the Pelagos is a great watch.

My wish is for a RHD.

Love the LHD - but I wish they'd put the 5 lines of text a little further away from the 6 o'clock marker... it bugs me how close it is when there is plenty of room just to move it up just a smidge.

Love mine and think that the vintagey lume goes particularly well with the matte dial and chamfered face
I don’t think Tudor made the leftie for left hand divers. The French Navy top brass commissioned Tudor to make the leftie because right hand dive instructors wore their watches upside down because it was easier to see time elapsed on the bezel.

When I was in the Tudor AD it was a tough decision against the BB58 and the Pelagos. I loved the BB58 for the aesthetics, but the Pelagos won the day because of its functionality (all the bells and whistles) and value for money.

The Pelagos is such a strong reference, and the LHD in particular represents the best of Tudor (IMO). It quickly became a the go-to watch for me. And I waffle between it is broadly under-appreciated/overlooked by non-owners and it appropriately gets the respect it deserves.

It's really difficult to not like a Tudor. They are making some great watches and with incredibly aggressive pricing. When you look at the price, less than half of a comparative Rolex with arguably more than half the quality, you realize that it's an incredibly great buy.

Yes! The Pelagos is a marvelous tool watch, and a version at 39mm would be a no-brainer purchase for many of us.

I tried on a Pelagos while at the AD picking up my BB GMT. I echo the comments that people are making here that I was really surprised at how well it wore. No, it’s not slim like the BB58 it’s a chunky tool watch but the lugs don’t hang off too crazy and it doesn’t wear wildly different than a 41mm Black Bay. The watch is also crazy light. You really need to pick one up and handle it to get a sense of the lightness.
