Don't mean to hijack the thread but it's in the same mold as the CasiOak and is worth looking into for Casio fans and CasiOak design fans.

It has the CasiOak look, same style hands, indices, famed bezel shape, and loads of cool features like Bluetooth which you can sync to your Casio app on your phone. But it's made different material and obviously not a G-Shock.

On sale, with Macy's money I had, including tax and free shipping, I paid $99.95 when it retails for $150.00.

I think it looks pretty neat. I liked it as soon as I saw it. There are another couple models that are black with rubber (even a red band), but I like the blue and stainless. I'm sure it's a hollow bracelet, but I think it would be cool to source the OEM rubber bracelet like the other models have. I see the rubber strap for sale at an authorized Casio parts company linked to Casio's website.

It can be a dressy beater with some neat functionality.

Yes, this is a cool watch. I also ordered it as soon as I saw it. We'll see how big and thick it is at 48mm. That's the beauty of the CasiOak, that's not a very large/thick watch for a G-Shock.

I got mine today. Really nice. The light is the best I’ve seen on a watch. It’s kinda large but looks fine on my 7” wrist. Very substantial and heavy feeling. Certainly worth under the $100 I paid. I bought an OEM rubber strap to change it up. Clasp on the bracelet is cheap. My only concern is that it’s not solar powered and connects to your phone via Bluetooth and it’s own app. So I think the connectivity is gonna drain the battery. You don’t have to sync it indefinitely but you lose the precise time keeping. I guess you can sync when you want to refresh it. I don’t plan on using the other features.

Size of case / total weight: 51.0 x 48.5 x 12.5 mm / 167 g

Lume shot

Light shot. It’s that bright! No my flash isn’t on! Don’t mind the glare at the bottom. That’s where the light is. The phone distorts it. Very sweet in real life.

The Edifices are usually a step up from the Casios and G Shocks, in my experience. I’ve had a couple. Enjoy it !

Hey guys, I currently have a 5610 and an AWGM100b-1a. I’m thinking of flipping the AWGM and buying a Casioak. Do you think this swap would be worth it? I’d lose solar atomic, but gain better backlight and better aesthetics. I don’t think I have room for both in my rotation, especially if I go with a black oak.

Is there much of a market for the used AWGM?

If you want the CasiOak, just buy it. I wanted the black and white one (not blackout). I found it impossible to buy at anywhere near retail. Got black/green and camo at or pretty close to retail.

Thank you! I might ordered the strap but it's backordered right now. I'm getting the Edifice watch tomorrow.

I received my yellow CasiOak this morning. I placed the order on Sunday night and received it this morning (Japan to Northeastern US less than 48 hours door to door). Impressive!

The CasiOak is a killer watch! The yellow is very nice. Not as bright as it appears in pics. More of a mustard yellow. I love it! The only negative is the lack of lume on the hour markers, albeit very minor.

Can you name your source? Don’t want to get you in trouble. PM if we are not supposed to say. I am unaware of the rule on this.

As of now, no.

But I bet one is forthcoming in 2021.

I have that one and the black bezel, green band. My only complaint is that the date window is small and difficult to read.

Sorry, just noticed your question.

I got it online at an authorized Casio parts reseller called Pacparts. Part number 91087379292 .

It was not in stock and takes 4-6 weeks to be delivered.
