MountEverest - I echo the sentiments of others who've expressed their empathy, and wish you well in your recovery, both physically and financially.

FWIW - I sold my ExpII through my AD about one year ago and netted $1K. Find your comparable model FS on DavidSW, take that price to your AD and that's your ask. Selling through your AD preserves your relationship and it should move quickly.

As an aside, I'm an attorney and will offer this up - also FWIW but not as legal advice - with regard to paying medical bills, in most all jurisdictions, the statute of limitations is three years. Keep that in mind when deciding how to best allocate your financial resources and focus on your physical health first; career second. Godspeed, my friend. These are f'd up times, especially in America, and I sincerely wish you all the best.

Sorry to hear about your financial and health issues. I hope everything gets better soon. Happy to hear you keeping the Pepsi.

Dump both now - at the peak of the Rolex hype and use money for solving your problems. Within the 2 year horizon you’ll very likely be able to re-obtain the same watches for a lesser amount of cash. Two similar GMTs from the same maker is a weird 2-watch set anyway :)

And the EXP II is much more versatile right across the board as a one watch scenario, unless one is casually diving.

Yes, this has some merit.
However, the EXP II is seemingly the subject of increasing popularity and spiralling second hand values.
From a speculative standpoint, there may be more money to be taken off the table in the future with the EXP II
Besides, the question revolves around letting one or the other go.
