Threw in the white towel . . .
I was thrilled when Omega announced its 1957 Trilogy 60th Anniversary collection. After debating between the Speedmaster and the Seamaster 300, I decided to pull the trigger on the Speedmaster. Well, today, I decided to throw in the towel and take the plunge on the Seamaster 300 as well:
I've been amazed that these and the Railmasters are still available. In this year alone, I’ve seen about a dozen Seamaster 300’s at multiple ADs across the US. I'm a big fan of this current trend on re-issues, especially those pieces that pay tribute to dive and pilot watches. This one has been tugging at my heart for a while. I love the Omega symbol on the domed sapphire crystal. Impressive lume: Last edited by Mach; 19 August 2019 at 12:31 PM.. Reason: grammar |

Nice pickup. I’ve always liked this more than the 60th speedy.

Congratulations, there is something really special about these........I'd love it if Rolex did a similar re-issue of the 1680 but of course that will never happen. Hats off to Omega for doing such a faithful re-issue yet with some nice modern touches, including the METAS movement in the Seamaster.

I can’t say enough good things about the Milspec, my most worn watch. I love it. Not to be a bad influence or anything. Haha.

Looks amazing, although I’m surprised to read it’s so small. You must have tiny wrists considering how it looks when you’re wearing it. Beautiful nonetheless. Enjoy!
