Datejust 41 jubilee bracelet swap to DJII??

Can you put a stainless DJ 41 jubilee on a DJ II? I imagine it wild be around 1700 for the bracelet but wondering if this is possible...

of course it is possible.

i have a blnr on super jubilee. i have seen people put daytonas and subs on it.

it's all about the pins, you have to have the right pins.

I think they both have lug width of 21 mm which makes it possible.
That's how they have the bigger case and dial size but keep slim lugs like 36mm DJ.

Its not possible. The end links on the 41 are 1mm too narrow for the lug with on the DJ2.

Somewhere on the inter web there are pics showing this.

.

I was asked the exact same question on my French forum, just minutes ago ...

My answer will be same here. If we have 21mm between lugs for both DJII and DJ41, we still need to verify that spring bars are in front of lug holes to be sure.

As DJ41 bracelets "benefit from the new concealed attachment system beneath the bezel, which ensures seamless visual continuity between the bracelet and case" (dixit Rolex), that may compromise this new Jubilee compatibility with older watches models.

I've seen a review somewhere on the internet where the individual writing the review tried to fit a jubilee from a 41 onto a DJ2 and there was a small, all-be-it noticeable gap, when the jubilee end link was gently seated against the DJ2 case. Because of this he didn't even bother to try and insert a spring bar.

I've tried finding the review to post the link here but I can't locate it.

Don't forget the 41 has been around for a year already in TT. This is not a new idea for DJ2 owners hoping to swap out their oysters for a jubilee, it's already been tried without success, but I'll happily be proved wrong.

Slightly off-topic, but couldn't you do this by switching the end links only?

Similarly, could I fit a 20mm jubilee form a DJ36 to a DJ41 by switching the end links?

Not compatible. I just went through this with my DJ41 and in the course of the conversation my AD mentioned that a few DJII owners had wanted to try it but the bracelet did not fit.
