1957 radium gilt Swiss dial Explorer 6610
New to me 6610 and wanted to post as IMO really nice complete piece. Will let pictures do the talking but correct 57 date stamp on both caseback and on the stretch rivet bracelet. Original radium lume and dial and hands. Nice well cared for all original piece which is a welcome addition to my collection. My thanks to Ricky (recaro18) for great transaction. Excellent transparency and communication from this seller. Would happily buy from him again. His description of any issues with the watch were accurate and fairly described. My thanks to Phillip Ridley for his expert service on the piece. As always Philip is great to work with and has worked on many pieces for me. He has my highest recommendation. Phillip did a mechanical service, replaced crystal with correct NOS tropic 22 high dome and replaced crown and tubes with correct period parts. Case and bracelet left untouched. Phillip said radiation level was 5.53 on his geiger counter with case closed. Any comments on the watch are welcome. |
