And unlike that 5711, which is beautiful in both pictures and in person, I was pleasantly surprised that the 5167 looks far better in person than in pictures.

Agree!!!

5167 dial is considerably more interesting in my opinion.

Apologies for reviving this thread but I'm in the same situation with my 5167 except mine is on the bracelet. I was really excited when I received it but I've been underwhelmed by it since. I think with the 5167 having been the only Aquanaut variant I never got to try on before I'm just considerably underwhelmed by it when compared to the 5164 and the 5968. I'm highly considering letting it go if my feelings toward the 5167 don't change and go for the 5164 instead.

Both the 5167 and 5711 are simple movements in SS. There is not a lot to overwhelm but they are thin compared to other brands and I do like that. I do think the 5167 on rubber strap is attractively priced at retail for a PP.

Agree. I think the 5167 case is far more attractive than the 5711 with more form and flow.

I think having had the chance to try on the 5164 and 5968 last year had me enamored with the Aquanaut line as a whole and I thought that same feeling was going to transfer to the 5167. I think it's the fact that I am not as taken with the 5167 as the other two models that's left me feeling underwhelmed. At this point, I think I'm going to give it until the end of the month before finalizing my decision on whether to sell the 5167 and then going for the 5164.
