Experts should recognize model and options. Both brands are my favourite passions. Sounds cliché but the engineering quality, know-how and technical marvel that goes into both brands is trully great.

Thanks Ryan. It’s very analogue, so sometimes I have a flashback to my college days and VW Super beetle when I’m driving it. The wide body curves, sound of the engine and door shutting are really special things about this 911 model.

The last-- and arguably best-- of the air cooled 911's. Plus you've got the benefit of AWD to offset some of the 'squireliness' of that beast.

Great car, man

Thanks! I agree...it’s got the body,
suspension and brakes of the 993 turbo without the extra HP. Looked at
a 930 Turbo before I bought this one, but figured the 993 C4S would be a bit more practical for occasional use and also has the charm of old school air cooled technology.

My 5th 911 (992 Gen) coming end March/beginning April.

Lucky to take the single build allocation due at that time. Few more coming in the later months but hopefully just in time for spring

I've always gone for Jet Black metalic, but this time gone for their new colour Gentian blue, black hood, black wheels black leather. What's not to like.

Will post up pics of the actual car when it lands in the UK

That looks amazing! I’ve always loved convertible sports cars. They’re just way more fun when the top comes off!

Congrats!

Thanks sir.
I finally saw a sample of the colour in the flesh a few weeks ago and was blown away. My wife has had a few Audi cabs in the past and we enjoyed them very much, even in the English weather. So this will bring back good memories.
The kids can take a hike lol

Here's the actual sample.

From some angles, especially in certain light and in the evening it almost looks black.
