It’s possible, but I would run it through a few months. Mine ran for 3/4 weeks and then went wrong. Spent a few mins running the hours hand round for a couple of months and sorted it.

If it is a bit of over lubricant as has been suggested, I’m assuming the running through has helped run it through a bit. As I’ve posted, mine is Absolutely fine now.

Might be worth a try before you and your husband send in for checks.

Either way, it’s a little disappointing but it’s still a great watch.

It does not slowly roll into place like I've read about in some other posts. Timekeeping is more accurate than my SubC and it gains just a fraction of a second per day, remarkably.

As of this morning, my Tudor BB GMT has gained 0.2 seconds total in 13.0 days. Don’t really know what else I could want in a watch besides this one.
Mine’s a 1763XXX and is working fine so far (touch wood).

Well, about 2 months ago I sent my watch in for being too fast - it literally came back at the same +7 seconds/day. Then, at the beginning of August, the watch started skipping days on the date wheel. I literally thought I was going nuts. It went from 3 to 5. I corrected it, then it went from 6 to 8, I corrected it again and then it got stuck between 8 and 9. That is when I went back to RSC of BH and told them that first, they didn't fix the issue of being too fast, now this date issue. Anyway, no idea when the watch is set to be returned but I hope they fix it this time.

Bringing this back up.

Anybody get their watch back and still have the date issue? Do we know what the fix is?

I bought 2 of these GMTs and both have the problem. One started within a couple days and the second one took a month for the problem to show up. Both are in for service.

I also look forward to hearing the answer to Bluside’s question.

I’m counting myself lucky so far.....have had the watch 29 days and it’s running beautifully. Touch wood.

Schoolboy, you may have to knock on wood there in Texas, but here in Europe we only have to touch it!

HAGWE!

Nope, I grew up in Europe. Touching it won't cut it! Hahahahaha

I'm bringing husband's in today to the ad, to be sent. It's been skipping two dates ever since.

I'm really curious what the problem is. This seems like an odd issue.

That’s a shame. Sorry to hear that. Mine is in too now. I wouldn’t be surprised if all of the first batch have an issue, just they are manifesting themselves at different points. Might explain the lack of Tudor gmt incomings recently if Tudor have stopped supply while they sort it.

Hope it’s not too long. RSC London said 2 weeks for repair when I took it in on weds.

seem to have a problem with 30% but may be nearer 50% as how many are not worn frequently and so have not shown a problem yet...

Agreed, but I understand the reluctance in some, given the reports. Mine is running perfectly, and I'm happy I took the plunge. This one puts a smile on my face, everytime I look at it.

I wouldn't worry about it. I would still get it now. I love the watch. It's under warranty and if it has a problem, they will fix it.

Heck, I had to send my new 2 week old Rolex Sub in to get something fixed. It happens.

It’s unfortunate that some new Tudor GMT owners are having this issue. Hope you don't have to wait long to get it resolved.

No second thoughts here either! It's a phenomenal watch!

Tried the 58 today too.
Gorgeous watch. Good size for me.

Awesome pic of an awesome watch. I had the date thing happen immediately (I started the poll thread). Now it seems fine after running through the date a bunch with the crown. Hoping it doesn’t show back up.

Mine did. It was fine for over a month after thinking I’d fixed it using the same process as you. Either way it’s under warranty for 2 years so no issue.

My watch should be back from the service next week. Let's see if it comes with any paperwork or details what's been done.
