Been waiting to get mine from AD. Tudor rep said not shipping at this point due to finalizing quality control issues with date wheel.

My date has worked flawlessly, along with everything else about this watch, for 32 days. I look every morning though.

Same here. And the accuracy is astounding for a new watch.

One of mine worked flawlessly for 30 days. On day 31 it jumped a day and a half.

Wonder how long it takes for the first batch of troubled GMT watches to be sold out of the inventory

Then perhaps I will consider a GMT purchase

I would think they are virtually gone from AD’s now (at least here in U.K.) but might be something to think about if buying grey.

my date has also worked flawlessly since collection in June, I have been wearing it most days and had to reset the time twice after wearing another watch for a few days.

although unfortunately, doesn't sound like its affected all shipped units.

They told me that the date wheel needed regulating.
But I noticed that the watch accuracy was greatly improved after the service
It used to be around 2.5 seconds a day forward. Now for the last 17 days, it has only gained 11 seconds.

Mine is about a month old. Twice last week the date stopped half way. Now today it went from the 4th to the 7th.

Mine has been at RSC Dallas for a couple of weeks now and I spoke to them today. They are waiting on movement parts that might not come in until late this month. I made the mistake of hoping it would fix itself after it malfunctioned a few days after I got it, and in retrospect I should have just sent it immediately. If your is having date issues, it's not going to fix itself and hand cycling it repeatedly might loosen it up enough to work for a day or two (it did for me) but you might as well get it over with and send it in sooner rather than later.

No way in hell would I buy grey now, with these defects. Would rather have the AD warranty under my name, and peace of mind.

It does not slowly roll into place like I've read about in some other posts. Timekeeping is more accurate than my SubC and it gains just a fraction of a second per day, remarkably.
Any idea what the first GMT serial numbers start with? Are they all I7’s or are there I5’s, I6’s, etc?

I know new models have growing pains at times, but for the price, it's disappointing.

Probably a planned issue just want to make sure GMT Master II buyers don't get jealous with the insanely low price point.

Like @snow-dweller, I’m touching wood that I don’t have the issue. I bought mine from an AD in Portugal last week and they had only received their stock 2 days earlier. I’m hoping that mine is from a later (and unaffected) batch. I’m still not 100% in love with the watch though (date drama aside).

AD few weeks ago was trying to sell me one. I said no since I already have Rolex gmt but this date malfunction was also weighing in my decision. Warranty or no warranty, I didn’t want to be sending back watch over and over to correct problem.

I’m having the opposite problem. Been wearing my WG BLRO the last three days....and really missing the Tudor. I’m as surprised as the next person!

What are you missing about the Tudor over the 126710!? On paper, it's great -- I cant seem to get on with it on the wrist, though! I tried putting it on a nato this afternoon. I took it off and put the bracelet back on.

Do you have any suggestions for a 22-16mm Oyster that would fit -- I wonder if the bracelet is a bit too wide?

I’m missing everything....its chunkyness, the domed crystal, the lack of cyclops, the legibility ...the general feeling of tool watch.

I’m sorry, but I have no alternative bracelet suggestions for you. I can only tell you that I’m looking forward to trying the Tudor on leather strap when it goes back on, and that I’m considering ordering my first ever RubberB.

I do love the domed crystal and the legibility, that's for sure. The 126710 is a very different animal -- much more of a 'pretty watch' than a 'tool watch'. When I owned the 16753, I think that was one of the things that put me off the watch -- despite it being my grail. Funny how sometimes you just don's suit a watch!

When I test drove the Tudor at the ADs, it was on the leather -- I made the mistake of not buying it with that. However, I wear my watch all the time and leather straps really don't do well in the water. Good luck with the rubber! I tried one on my Bremont, but it pinched and I couldn't get used to it! I have seen some Everest rubber straps on the BBGMT -- they certainly look the part.

I stopped by my AD yesterday to see if they had any info on my watches getting repaired. I saw the printout from the Dallas RSC. They estimated 3 weeks from the day they received and evaluated each of them. The dealer request states the date window issue, but the Rolex service order just says "check movement" and nothing really in particular.

I got the call from my AD a few days ago that my BBGMT had finally come in. I picked it up today and am happy so far. I had paid for it in late July with estimated delivery of early August. It’s now a week into September. Hopefully the delay is from Tudor trying to fix the date issue? I’ll let everyone know if I have any problems with mine.

Well, mine is back. A week and a half or so. Good service. The service receipt is a bit cryptic. Just says movement correction and additional components.

No explanation as to the issue was forthcoming. Pleased to have it back though.
