What size is your wrist? Looks pretty big.
I'm seriously considering one of these, there is actually one available locally on the secondary market for a reasonable price. My logic here is that I have been waiting for a 5712 but have a 5711 in white. At the same time, I'm missing more of a dress watch which this would satisfy and I get a blue PP. My only concern would be could I wear this dressed down some? I'm not talking t-shirt but polo/sweater/etc with jeans/shoes? I tend to think it would be fine and could be a much better addition than another Nautilus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

My wrist is about 7.5inches I believe,
But from a personal point of view, great pre owned watch, but I have a clean 5396g which I bought pre owned, and I think I've worn it three times now in the last 2/3 years, but that's just me I suppose not wearing suits or something, as I tend to be a bit more casual, And if I read correctly u only have the 5711 atm, I probably have a little more of a collection, where my dress watch takes a back seat But it's always nice to have something different to your other watch If you buy it at the right price your not gonna lose to much unlike the fella who bought it originally Hope this helps Sent from my G8141 using Tapatalk |

I definitely think this reference would go well with polos, sweaters, and jeans.

I think we are the same in that sense and that's somewhat my concern. Would I actually wear it? If I could use it both dress and casual, I think I would but I cannot seem to find any photos online of it in bare wrists and/or casual attire. All under coat sleeves or shirt cuffs.

Saw one in person a couple weeks back at WoS in NYC. Dial is really stunning, and gives the 5205 a different dimension versus the other 5205s.

I really like this model, my problem is that I don’t wear gold so I’ve been waiting for the platinum version for many years, I hope this year they make it.

I think it’s an amazing reference - the blue dial really makes it pop and I love the case design/lugs with the openings.
Got to try it on but passed as I was holding out for a nautilus which I was lucky enough to get a couple weeks later. I have a small wrist and I think the size was fine for me. Here are some pictures: |

Looks quite nice! I think it would work well with casual attire.

I really like how they added the lume to the hands on this reference. I own the R with black dial and it would have added to the legibility on the R. The blue dial photographs really well. I found in person the blue dial is extremely dark, almost black except in situations with more light. The 5170P is even a tad lighter imo. Great watch, 5205 is a “common” reference but in the G the blue wins every time.

I like this watch a lot. The lug design worked really well for my 6.5 when I tried the prior wg dial on. I think this watch is a winner. No room with 5170p in the fleet though

That's kinda where I am at as well. I'm just not sure if I would wear it.... photos below, which are very good, seem to maybe support my thoughts. Very pretty but just not sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
