5726 A to be discontinued....
I heard from a reliable source that 5726 A will be discontinued this year and that probably a Aquanaut Annual Calendar will be added to the line.
Exciting Basel times ahead! |

That sounds reasonable. With the 20th anniversary aquanaut 5168g supposed to be discontinued and Patek investing in the 42mm case size, it could be a white gold annual calendar maybe again in a blue dial. They didn't increase the price of the 5726 annual calendar range so maybe thats further evidence towards discontinuation. It is the only steel AC for men still in production so would be disappointing but the aquanaut could follow in the same metal which would be a top seller past the current Nautilus variant which, until mid 2018 was a sleeper and easy to get due to low demand.

I just confirmed with PP boutique, they said the same thing. 5726/1A will be discontinued, but they haven't heard anything about a new Aquanaut with AC

The 5726 until 2018 was really a pass alot of times when people got the call if they wanted to purchase one so i can see why... Never a real 'hot' in demand seller for majority of its production lifespan. |

Just to make sure, we are taking about the Grey Annual Calendar on strap. Both the bracelet models will still be in production, right?

If they're going to discontinue it, it will likely be all 3 models. Makes no sense to discontinue only one of them when now they're in demand

This is a gut to the punch if it’s true. I was supposed to get a white 5726 from my AD this year. Along with 5711 white and 5712, 5726 is (was) my favorite Nautilus. Just bad luck I guess.

Good, I think it was a pretty ugly watch esp after I saw in in real life. Not everything needs to be in a Nautilus case.

Not necessarily that way. Sometimes they discontinue bracelet but keep the strap (5980), and sometimes they discontinue the SS but keep the PM and TT (5980).

Yes, the bracelet models have been quite popular so the strap can go, esp if an AC on strap is coming via the Aqua.

That was quick. I was able to get the first one here in Oklahoma. If it was available with a bracelet back then I would probably still have it.

If they discontinue the 5726, i do hope they change it with an Annual Calendar Chrono Nautilus. That could very well be a one-and-only watch for me

I'm confused. Did both your AD said both 5726A (strap) and 5726/1A (bracelet) will be discontinued together? Or just 5726A? |

I asked specifically for 5726/1A because I own it. The answer is 5726/1A is no longer in production. And it’s not from AD, it’s boutique.
