A Japanese supermarket in NJ called Mitsuwa in edge water. They have a bunch of different stalls. Better than most places. The ramen is on same level as the best ones in NYC.

If it’s Mitsuwa than it’s Santouku Ramen?

Santouku is awesome but yes if you eat weekly you become fatninja. I also like the set with the meat topping on rice

I get that and the mackerel on the stall next to it. With dumplings from the Japanese Chinese place.

The kid lets me eat the rest of her tempura and the wife lets me eat whatever is left.

So yeah. Getting fat

Regrettably, Patek SS is a contrived market. Mr. Stern has repeatedly said they could make more SS models but he chooses not to. I would assume production will be cut if demand slackens off to maintain the current status quo. The dress watch market is soft but Patek wants to remain a player in that market. If you want a Patek at retail, a dress watch or two it will be before the SS comes your from an AD at retail.

In the article I read, he said the precise opposite!

You mean he says he is increasing production of SS models. What article did you read. He just said he deeply regretted that so many people who will want the 5212A, unfortunately, will not be able to get one due to limited production numbers. This is really great news. Please link to the article.

In own a nautilus as well as a 5270r both amazing pieces in different ways but in terms of craftsmanship and complexity doesn’t even compare.

I actually disagree but we are entitled to our opinions. I myself have a 3970 and no one can doubt movement finishing and complication. However- the finishing, concept and design of the Nautilus case and integrated bracelet is simply elegance personified. I saw a IWC Perpetual Calendar Chorograph Tourbillon in full yellow gold for $20k the other day. Are you really paying $130k for the "complication"?

To me the nautilus can be worn anywhere, anytime. It is the perfect watch.

To make steel (a much harder metal and harder to work with than PM) feel like silk on the wrist is no easy feat. To tone down the aggressive design of the Royal Oak and make an even more superior design (arguable I know) is a piece of design and horological history.
