__Incoming....Arrived__

Posted a month or 2 back looking for some advice on finding the Daytona I was wanted...

Well I ended up going back and forth between zenith/rolex movement...dial color etc...finally made up my mind and narrowed the search to a 2007+ white dial - after about a month or so of searching and not finding anything that jumped at me Dennis Gold showed me a 2014 scrambled serial in my exact specs and at a great price...so I pulled the trigger!

I know it's not a popular choice here but it's exactly what I wanted...it matches my other jewelry perfectly. I also have a stainless Breitling with black dial and I'm thinking my next Rolex will be the 16610 LV... so I didn't wanna go SS with this

Anyways here are some bad pix...

Loving it- need to figure out the perfect sizing...its a little big - If I'm not mistaken the new bracelets have the Glidelock correct? I need to figure that out

Also what is everybody using for watch winders?

Thanks for all help - esp JJnd08 and Dennis Gold

Oh ok - is that just newer Subs?

I'll take it to an AD to get it sized right

Thanks!

awesome watch congrats, it has the extra half link. Have it sized with it closed, then you have room to swell!

You're right, it's only on SubC's and SD's. You can easily size it at home with the correct screwdriver!

Congrats!

Fantastic. I often think about getting the TT blue dial. Maybe some day.

Thanks guys...this is a contrast to my first thread...everybody said get the SSwith panda dial!

When I was shopping around I went to an AD and saw the model I bought - the salesperson/owner went into the back and pulled out a few "special" ones to show me and one was a SS Daytona and the other a Blue/Black GMT

Guess he keeps those on ice for certain customers or something...

anyways glad to be a part of the club...had my trusty Breitling Super Ocean for about 6 years now...I was overdue!

Congrats! V serial and up have an updated clasp, so that's probably what you were thinking about.

Glidelock is pretty easy. Once you know where to pull, then glide and push to close.

I've set it in the center then i took out some links. Make the 6 o'clock side a link shorter so the watch doesn't fall out to the 12 o'clock so much. Then you can fine tune with the glidelock.

Good luck

Congratulations! Beautiful watch and great pics! You may have noticed that Rolex is really promoting this variation of the Daytona in their current marketing!

Have the same watch and love it, of course my wife gave it to me on our wedding day and so it holds such a dear sentiment to me which only adds to my love of it! Congrats and wear it in good health.
