OK, I really don’t have much to say, other then....
WOW!!!!!! I just saw a video of this watch on Youtube, it is an amazing timepiece. Are any TRFers fortunate enough to own one? Please post pics and review. |

It's a nice watch and quite practical when traveling across time zones.

The 5164A is a great piece and the closest to a "daily beater" you will ever get from PP. The watch is a bit thicker than the 5167A and 5711/5712 (see last picture) and this gives it significantly more heft and wrist presence compared to these.
The rubber strap and "hidden" travel time hour hand makes it a great fairly underplayed companion when travelling (hopefully international travelling will soon resume). This reference is still below the radar (much more so than a Rolex GMT Master) although it is getting a bit more recognition during these IG times than when I first got mine. Overall, a great practical Patek that gets a lot of wrist time. Some pictures: |

I have the 5164, but I don’t have IG. Pretty sure I’ll survive anyway.
It’s the only travel watch you need, and maybe the only watch you need. Very stealthy and a very comfortable watch to wear. |

The best Aquanaut. I love the symmetry and globe within globe looks. Wears super comfortable too with just the right amount of presence with a rubber strap. Pushers are super solid and very convenient complication for travelers. I actually love it far more than I thought I would after I picked it up.

Flame suit on, I am the odd man out...
I like the dial but I don't like how the left-side pushers affect the overall case shape. Looks like a fish mouth to me, which I cannot unsee. On top I find the complication as gimmicky as they come. Who is challenged by the simple addition or subtraction of a time difference you have to know anyway? I have travelled enough that this piece of math runs between my ears automatically all the time. |

No watch is for everyone, but if you apply that logic you could say “who is challegened by looking at their phone for the time or time in another zone?” And by that logic we should all have Apple watches or something similar. Mechanical watches are all “gimmicky.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It's likely still my favorite piece. It just ticks so many boxes for me and I love it. If I had to sell all and keep one, I would have a really hard time not picking this. 5650 strap.

Love this watch would def be an everyday wear. 1st watch I purchased was the 116500 Daytona white dial. My AD doesn’t have Patek.
(Dumb Question) How did the owners in this thread acquire theirs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Was fortunate to get the call last week, pulled the trigger. I'm working out of town but my wife is going to pick it up today.. CAN'T WAIT!! I'll post pics when I can.
Question to owners.. how's it for scratches? I baby my 5711 but the bezel picks up scratches no matter what you do. I wouldn't care since I wear all my watches otherwise I wouldn't buy them but the Pateks I've heard are a lot harder to polish if ever required. |

I love mine...but honestly don't find the rubber strap as comfortable as others do.
But it's a go to piece when traveling for sure. |

If in the future they made a regular production blue dial.... I would pick it over any Nautilus.....
