has anyone contacted their AD about the meteorite daytona?
Just curious on what your AD's have told you about the new meteorite Daytonas?
I contacted my two AD's. specifically the RG bracelet one one said, no problem got you down. the other said. it's going to be awhile. Ive pretty much given up on the YG green dial, so was hoping to get the meteorite, but I have a feeling this ones going to be tough to get as well. |

Hybrid response. Mine said, no problem, I'll get it for you, but it'll be awhile.

I didn't specify Daytona...I basically said anything with a meteorite dial, as I would probably buy anything with a meteorite dial (not for flipping)

But why? This isn't the first time a Daytona has had a meteorite dial...
Why the rush? |

To echo others in this thread, my AD said "absolutely" but that it was going to take a while. Not due to spend history but mostly due to scarcity/production numbers of this model.

One of my AD's mentioned to me that last year they only received 2 of the green dial YG daytona, im wondering if these precious metal meteorite's will be something similar. |

My AD said they probably won’t see one until next year or at least the end of the year

My AD said he received around 30 requests on day one from heavy hitting clients. He said there’s no way they could make them all happy. He seemed quite nervous about it.

If you have any chance of getting one your AD will contact you not the other way around. If you have to ask your AD chances are you are not getting it

Thank you for starting this thread. I called my AD to request for this watch and he said he can get it for me but it’s either 2022 or 2023 before he can allocate for me as he stated that as both the steel dial and meteorite dial are considered as 116519LN so it’s just a dial change. Therefore Rolex may send only 1-2 each year, with one in steel and the other in meteorite. Sometimes it may just be either or. I wasn’t too happy with that answer tbh but I said I will wait for it.

Yeah. I wasn’t happy about that answer I got from the SA... but he said meteorite dials are rare as it’s not easy to manufacture. I noted in another post on one of the thread that I hope he’s not BS and that he’s downplaying it so that if he can get it early then it’s a bonus. But 2023 is too long. I might have to buy a few other stuffs to give him an incentive to allocate one for me quicker but see how things go.

My conundrum now is that should I buy further from the AD to push for an earlier allocation or let him deliver as it may be. I have a few watches I may buy across this year to provide incentive to allocate one for me earlier let’s say 2022 but what if he’s talking garbage? Then I should have kept those 3 watches and buy elsewhere to start a relationship. |

Yes, I expressed an interest in the YG one. AD just said they'd make a note of it. No offer of timeline and I didn't ask because I knew he'd just be guessing.

I think if you are going to get one of the new meteorite dial Daytonas, the AD already knows your name and will call you when they get one.

LOL these threads genuinely crack me up. “My AD said 3 years”. “My AD said I’m at the top of the list”. “My AD told me to go pound sand”.
We all know the damn answer...They’re going to be extremely hard to get and if you don’t have a purchase history you aren’t getting one. Sorry if that’s offensive but that’s the truth if you want to actually hear it. What on earth would suggest anything different? You can’t even get an OP these days without a great relationship. You think Rolex said “Geez, let’s take two of the hottest things we have - A Daytona and a Meteorite Dial - and produce the hell out of them and make everybody happy!!”. a little off topic, anybody knows if the endlinks are going to be removable? I know with prior oysterflex were not the case.
