As previous forum member said, most AD’s get 2 each of the sought after models per annum. I’m on my AD list , no idea where I stand , just keep asking every 3 months I guess . Reasonable buying history , but I’ll wait as I love this face and Oysterflex is my collection grail .

It is not, Rolex made a WG Daytona with meteorite years ago:

Funny.

Everyone is scrambling, but our grey seller friends already have plenty.

in terms of value retention, this model didn't do to well compared to lets say the John Mayer.

I wonder what's going to happen with new meteorites.

AD texted me at 6:15 am on launch day. I’m pretty clueless, but I’ll call it a “good sign”!!!

DEFINITELY want it.

From my experience of buying previous new releases the steel models , Pepsi's Batgirls ect usually hit the store in early May , the gold releases will arrive around October

I wonder what's going to happen with new meteorites.
That's simply because JM didn't hype it. Not because it isn't a great watch. :)

My AD has already pre-sold all 3 versions of meteorite daytona with bundling. They expect to only receive one of each this year so they won't bundles these anymore for now.

And I say that as someone who always wanted a meteorite daytona, has owned two WG versions but never the dial I wanted. I love the OG meteorite Daytona especially on full bracelet

Because it's only going to get more expensive, so if you have the money try to buy as soon as possible.
