Nautilus & Aquanaut Availability

Why has PP cut so far back on the availability of basically all of the sport models? I get the fear of over doing it like many think has happened with AP and the Ro & ROO. However, it was these watches that introduced many to the brand. I went from a Nautilus all the way to a Perp Cal Chromo but that never would have happened without being able to buy a Nautilus. In fact, i still love the Nautilus and traded my PCC because as much as I LOVED the workmanship it just didn't fit my life. Now its impossible to add to my collection bec availability is a joke. What gives?

It's more demand has shot up, supply has only been tweaked at best, much like Rolex, and makes little difference in this whirlwind.

I agree. I believe Patek has more or less maintain production of SS models, but the demand has outstripped supply many folds currently. Patek is never a volume seller to begin with.

I would push for a Naut with your AD assuming you purchased the PCC from them. After making a big purchase I would think they would let you jump the queue.

I’m not sure how long you were quoted on time but, I’m on a list for a nautilus for white and blue 5711. The white is roughly end of next year while the bluebis a little past 5 years. Until then I have other watches to buy.
