BLRO, Skydweller or TT CHNR ?

If you were to have just one watch and are a frequent traveller with a 7inch wrist...

Which watch would you choose out of these three ?

Are these even obtainable. These are 3 top dogs. The order can be debated endlessly. I’d say whichever you can get your hands on for msrp. Here’s my attempt

Blue sky d, tt rootbeer, pepC

TT CHNR.

I tried on the SkyD with my 7in wrist and it had quite a bit of lug overextending the wrist.

If you are worried about a watch being too flashy as an avid Traveller, keep your watch on you at all times, maintain situational awareness, and have some semblance of common sense and generally YOU (forget the watch) will be safe. Otherwise best to leave in a safe place at or near home.

Tough call, but I would go with the skyD. Great GMT and it’s an annual calendar. If it’s your one watch, you really don’t have to do anything!

Also, it’s dressy enough with the WG bezel yet super robust like a sports watch.

The CHNR will be the most-flipped watch of the next 2 years--it's already begun. Don't get me wrong: I dig it. But the only 2-tone in the history of Rolex to gain near universal acceptance is the Bluesy. The CHNR is no Bluesy.

Respectfully disagree completely. To each his/her own though.

From pure design, I love CHNR and prefer it over BLNR or BLRO and SkyD. But some people are biased because market value of BLRO. If BLRO and SkyD were going for 50% msrp in used, people would say CHNR is way to go

Sorry but have to disagree.

I don’t believe the Bluesy has ever been ‘Universally’ accepted as you state - it constantly splits opinion on the forums as to whether it’s too blingy or loud, & many members straight out don’t like YG TT watches full stop.

The CHNR however is the first TT watch from Rolex that has actually changed many people’s minds on TT watches in general.

Numerous times I’ve seen comments such as ‘never been a fan of TT but the CHNR is actually winning me over’

As the owner of both I can honestly say the CHNR is far more practical -I do not feel anywhere near as aware it’s on my wrist as when I’m wearing the Bluesy.

The CHNR is a keeper for me & I’m sure it will be for many many other owners.

The only reason it may get flipped is because it’s in massive demand & the temptation to make some easy money may be too great to resist for some- the Bluesy has never commanded such great premiums over retail and probably never will.

Yellow gold is out. I honestly think the Bluesy looks cheap because lots of companies make similar colored watches.

The CHNR is hot for a reason.....and unless you are over 60 years of age, I don’t think the TT yellow gold appeals more than the everrose.

When watches get flipped for more than they were bought for....it’s not because the watch doesn’t look good. It’s the opposite. It’s already happening because the CHNR keeps going up in value.

I wonder how the poll would differ if the choice of only the SS blue dial sky dweller was given...

I get your points surely... My only contention is that the Bluesy is certainly closer to near-universal acceptance (I did say "nearly" previously)... I mean, we're talking blue vs. brown here...I know the CHNR is the shiny new thing right now, but 10 years from now, ask people what they'd rather have. Furthermore, 50 years from now, which piece is more likely to still be produced?

Saw a TT chnr in a grey 2 days ago ..... 18,000 euro. I often see the bluesy in AD windows. I’m told it’s not hard to get, a lot easier than the GMT. The provenance of the CHNR is strong. Time will tell, but indications are that the CHNR is hot and will remain that way for a long time.

It’s close between the skyD and the Pepsi but the Pepsi wins for me because of the jubilee bracelet

Sky Dweller - You get a GMT and annual calendar in one. Plus I prefer the oyster bracelet. Good luck!

I have the BLRO and white SD.

I would be hard pressed to give up either. But I think if I were just buying one, it would be the Pepsi. It does fit very well. And I am a fan of the jubilee.
