Rolex Watch Winder
Does anyone have any experience with the battery powered Rolex Winder? It appears to be small enough to fit into my safe, though I feel the price is a bit excessive (US$750). I saw it for the first time today at Rolex South Coast Plaza.

I wasn't impressed. You're not getting much for your money, and with plastic components, they can be damaged - we've already had to send one back to Rolex for repair.

For the money, it's tough to beat Orbita's quality.

HAve you guys tried the rotolution winders? They're pretty awesome and are a better deal than orbitas in my opinion.

FYI - The Rolex branded winder is made by SwissKubik, Rolex commisioned them to make the Rolex branded ones.
Search Ebay there are a couple in HK for around 400-500 USD. You can buy the non Rolex branded ones for around half the price. http://www.swisskubik.com/ |

I've had one for close to six months and it works great, for the money it's tough to beat.

Brookstone Pads
I have the quad from Brookstone and the pads are actually "cushions" in only one size. Not sure if they'll fit your bracelet, but they don't come with multiple size pads as did my other nicer winder. For the difference in price though, it might be worth a try (or get it and send it back if it doesn't work). I've only had it about a month, but it's worked great thus far - for lots less money than the competition. I'm sure it won't last as long and lacks the bells and whistles, but it's doing fine now.
