Is this a good price for a new Deep Sea?

Hey guys Im new to the forum. I was looking at a new model Deep Sea (44mm) offered for sale for $7200 (brand new). Is this a fair price? I did see one offered here for sale recently for $7400..... Just wondering!

Thanks for any input!

Martin

Ive seen them on the bay for about $7400 to $7800 and I thought those were decent enough pricing. So I would think that $7200 for a brand new DS would be a good deal as well.

I would like to hear other peoples thoughts on this, since Im torn about getting one very, very, very soon.

Just keep an eye on the sales area

And remember, and extra 100 dollars to a seller that is more well known and respected (with less risk to you), is worth it!

Please avoid eBay...so much questionable stuff. So many stories of heartache on sales gone wrong we see documented here.

It would be smarter to avoid eBay unless you are extremely knowledge in identifying and buying rolexes. Even then there is a 50% chance of getting scammed. 7200 seems to be a good price for the deepsea but as Justin said it'll be better to spend a few bucks than to lose out on all your money. After all, you are spending thousands what's a couple hundred more?

Totally agree, I would not buy such a piece over ebay. I just kind of use the prices to educate myself on the approx prices (basically to figure out how low my AD can go on the price). So far its worked very well, saving my thousands of dollars.

Hey guys,

The watch is at a fancy jewlery store here on long island. They are a rolex dealer. I would assume I wouldnt get scammed on a fake over there. Have there been stories of fakes being sold by authorized dealers? Im new to the watch buying thing! Im going over to see the watch today during lunch. Thanks for the input!

That's a very good price. Better than what I can get at my AD.

i would only buy from the for sale forums or an actual brick and mortar AD.

$9250 is msrp, i was offered $1000.00 off of a DSSD or GMT II.

its your money just be safe with it. If you go through ebay, use a mastercard so your purchase can be secure because paypal is worthless.

Your price does sound good. there are some going for that in the for sale forum here.

From an AD?

I think that's a good price from an AD. But what about sales tax? Can they help you there by sending it out of state?
