Hello,

I am a member of this forum for a long time and so far I only picked up a lot of knowledge reading the threads. But now I actually have a reason to post.

I have picked up a Rolex oyster junior sport at ebay for my collection.
The watch has a caliber 59 movement (FHF).

Anyway the problem is I have bought the watch as a plastic bag with all lose bits (wild gamble) on Ebay one late nite but the hands are missing. I have already found the sub second one in my stock. But for the hour and minute hand I am clew less.

I know that these watches need filled hands but do not know the sizes nor have the tool to measure the wheel and axle where they go on.

Is there anyone out here on this forum that can help me out with either a set of hands or the sizes?

First of all welcome!! Not sure who might be able to help. All I know is that the Oyster Junior where specifically made for the Canadian market. Perhaps on our Canadian members!

No I am sorry Spartan I will try make some tomorrow as it is to dark inside now to take a proper photograph. It is a small army watch just google for it you will find some pictures of em. They where made for the Canadian market and used a lot by there forces during ww2 There are quite a few models same watch different names. some have centre seconds some sub seconds. The caliber is also used in early Tudor models and has Rolex written under the dial but it is a Rolex modified FHF 30 movement. This is all I know about them.
