Excess Glue around Cyclops? Rolex GMT

Hello Everyone.
I am new to the Rolex community. This is my first Rolex.
The Rolex GMT Master II 116710LN. My question is regarding the cyclops.
The cyclops appears to have excess glue around it. What do you all think? To me, paying this much for a watch, I would think that the quality standards would be much higher. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If new, I'd take it back for exchange or RSC service.

It still looks to have the stickers on it, so take it back to the AD you purchased it from and they should remedy the problem.

just make certain you're EXPLICITLY CLEAR that you don't want THEM fixing it. Unless of course you have confidence in their watchmaker or are willing to void your warranty.

Thank you for the comments. This was actually purchased from a highly reguarded and trusted member of this site, and not an AD. It is still new with stickers.

Had some excess glue on mine, too.
Removed with a toothpick...

I looked closely at the cyclops on the new BLNR through a loupe and the extra adhesive is there, too.

A manufacturing flaw that will surely add to the value in 10 years time.

how do you figure? it's not exactly like a coin that was errantly struck at the mint.

Scraped mine with a small screwdriver and scraped it away. The sapphire didn't scratch and it's now nice an sharp looking.
