Need to find band for Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra

Leather buckle/deployment clasp band possible for this:

https://davidsw.com/watches/omega-wa...h-silver-dial/

Where can I find a band... anyone? I prefer leather over metal. Thank you

I recommend a genuine Omega strap made to work with a genuine Omega deployant clasp. The Omega Boutique on 5th Ave can hook you up, for sure.

There were siblings to that Aqua Terra that came mounted on straps that would work nicely on that watch. One was the Aqua Terra in steel with a blue dial, and it came on a dark Navy Blue Alligator strap (I think Omega calls it Crocodile). I think there also was an Aqua Terra in steel with a black dial that came on black Crocodile.

Omega should also have some good options in calf, in case you prefer it.

I don't have reference numbers for those watches or for the straps/deployant that they came on, but I'm confident the good folks on 5th Ave can look up all the right part numbers.

The Omega stuff works really well, but it isn't cheap, so if you wanted to look at other options then I recommend the usual suspects: the London from Hirsch is really nice, and Camille Fournet can provide suitable ready-made straps, or you could spec one out just the way you like. I think Camille Founet will make a strap to work with the Omega deployant, too.

That's a cool watch. Is it a new addition for you? Let us know how it goes!

If its the 38.5 mm model its a 19mm strap.
If its the 41.5mm model, then its 20mm

The watch you posted is in the 41.5mm case, and its lug dimension is 20mm.

The strap and deployant clasp that Omega specifies for its 41.5mm Aqua Terra models are 20mm at the lugs, and 18mm at the clasp.

There are other Omega straps that taper from 20mm at the lugs to 16mm at the clasp, and some people like that stronger taper.

The strap/deployant for my Speedmaster Pro taper from 20mm at the lugs to 16mm at the clasp. I do prefer the stronger taper

The above indicates 19mm. Note date at 3 o'clock, not 6 o'clock. Comments?

The watch you posted is 41.5mm. I think I recall that was a special model called the Captain's Watch, and I think it was produced only in the larger case (not positive on that). One visual cue indicating case size in the Aqua Terra is the juxtaposition of the date display in relation to the perimeter of the dial.

Here's the watch you're looking at on Omega's site. It was a special edition commemorating Omega's role as official timekeeper at the Ryder Cup:

Thanks — are the hands and markers luminous? It looks like it, but doesn’t say yes on the website? I thought it was. Anyone?

Thank you.

I was debating buying this a month ago .

I went with a little different model but this is still a great one. I am not a fan of the older aqua terra bracelet at all so I bought a couple straps instead.

This could give you an idea of what yours would look like. The blue cordura actually came with the 3rd edition of the Ryder cup watch.

Mine is 21mm so ref numbers won’t work but you need a 20mm strap and then the 18mm deployment.

I know they make both my straps in 20mm as well as others. They also make a blue croc if you want something more fancy. If I want to wear a watch on a bracelet I will wear my Sub.

Omega Rubber band. You can fit the older model of aqua terra with the new omega rubber strap.

I have this exact model, and had your exact need shortly after picking this up. A visit to the Omega Boutique helped address the need!!

Question

"Omega Rubber band. You can fit the older model of aqua terra with the new omega rubber strap."

Hihi can I check if it's a tight fit for the rubber strap on
the AT 41.5? I brought mine to the service center and they said the strap is too wide and will not fit. I'm just wondering if it can be squeezed to fit, appreciate your kind advice! Tia

This band in blue with the center chrome piece which is very similar to the Aqua Terra Ryder Cup or Olympic model but with a blue rubberized/leather band but with a gold center piece is available from Etsy for about $27 and from AliExpress for less than $20. I bought two as backup to the leather band on my 41 mm AT Ryder Cup 2018 model.

Here it is with the gold piece on the band. https://www.chrono24.com/omega/pre-o...id24482492.htm

This band from Omega is $250-450 depending on source and the deployment clasp is extra over that.
