Everest on a 5-digit
I was thinking about getting rubber Everest (w/deployant) for my 14060m and 16710 (both w lug holes).... anyone have this set up ? Pics? Impressions?

Guess not ...
So I gave it a try. Initially Everest sent 2.0 spring bars and I couldn’t get the thing on, but then they sent 1.8mm and got it to fit today. Definitely think it looks better than on the maxi case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Once I put the Everest on abut 4 years ago, mine has the tang buckle, the bracelet has never been back on. Love it. Congrats - looks great.

I would suggest the tang buckle rather than deployant. The strap is very soft and supple and the deployant is in my opinion pointless.

Here is mine. Tang buckle, works nice. The rubber is very supple and the fit is excellent.

The straps fit the 5-digts just perfect.

Great pics - they really do work well w the 5 digit case. Have a rubber for my subC date on tang but never bonded w it - partly bc didn’t think the maxicase blended well w it, and partly bc I didn’t like the buckle (dug into my wrist and ended up changing it) and the extra rubber . On deployant, gives a much cleaner look and feel IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I tell you what. I’m wearing a 16570 and i may see him Wednesday. I’ll bring some tools with me and check it out. If i had to guess, it’s going to fit perfectly. |

The website doesnt list one strap for all these models so there is probably some fitment difference. But maybe it is "perfect fit" versus "damn near perfect fit" which I can live with :)
IIRC they make a white rubber with red stripe strap that should look smashing on a polar. Might be too casual though. |

Well, I tried to get my 16570 rubber Everest to fit on my 14060m but couldn't. I think the lack of SEL cutouts in the case of the sub was the issue. Could probably shave the rubber endlink area down just a tad to get the spring bar in because it was REAL close, but then it'd probably be a little loose on the polar. The opposite way may fit though. I may grab an Everest in another color for the 14060m and try it out sometime.

If you were using 2.0 spring bars, try 1.8. I was sent the 2.0 by Everest for my lug-hole 14060M And I couldn’t mount the strap. The thinner spring bars did the trick (Everest mailed them to me) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Question: is the floating keeper on the rubber strap tight or loose?
I have an Everest leather strap on my 14060m and the floating leather keeper is ridiculously loose. Very bothersome. |

Switch my bracelet on my 5 digit sub for an Everest with a tang buckle - never looked back. Sorry, no picture right now, but very comfortable and I'm happy with it.
