I am currently seeking a watch I can wear all day every day. I am generally in athletic apparel as I work in a gym setting. I don’t like to take my watch off when I work out as I feel the safest place for it is on my wrist and I have no place to safely store it. I had a submariner (116613lb) and ended up selling (regrettably) it to fund another project. My everyday wearer is currently an IWC Portofino 150 anniversary. Love the watch but definitely still need another Rolex and I don’t quite trust the durability leaving this one on day and night with my activity.

10k is about the range I’d like to stay in.

Given your daily attire, and intent of use.… I’d say a subc or ExpII would be your best bet. The one you have on is a beautiful watch, but I wouldn’t wear it with athletic apparel.

Explorer. Not as bulky as a Sub or Exp II, and easily flies under the radar. Could throw it on a nato or rubber strap to make it even more stealthy.

If you wanted to go Sub I’d go with a 14060m rather than a Sub C. Five digit polar Exp II would work too.

I would personally go for a 5 digit sub.

TBH, I would want a watch that was lightweight, comfortable, and wouldn't break the bank if I banged it on something in the gym.

Tudor Pelagos.

The Tudor Black Bay is quite practical for banging around.

I agree! And this may be the route I go. Having a hard time justifying buying the same one again since I did lose a few bucks on it. I’ve tried to love Tudor by I can’t bring myself to get one - feels like 3k I could have put towards big brother Rolex.

Only time I take it off in the gym is when I’ve got my versa grips on.

Explorer or Submariner. 5 or 6 digits, depending on what you like.
