Is 116600 + 126600 redundant?
I currently have a 126600 and am re-acquiring the 116600 which I sold in the past. Is it redundant to have both sea dwellers? I could see the argument on both sides...

Well, it is always good to have both and over time, you can stick with one that works better. I had both 116600 and 16600 for a while before deciding on 16600.

Nope.
Notwithstanding the obvious similarities, they wear quite differently. Depends on the day of the week as to which one I prefer, but the SD4K is the flavor of the day for me; truth be told, it’s just a better size for me.

Different sizes, red text on one, one is an anniversary edition & one is a short run/sure to be a collector piece.
If you’re not into either one for collectibility or sentimental reasons....in other words....just to have to wear.....I’d say it’s redundant. (IMO) |

it's actually amazing to see them both like this, as they look much less similar together

It’s your collection so if dwellers are your thing, I’d say yes. While you’re at it, I’d also add the Dblue.

I sold my 116600 after I got my 126600. Just never found myself wearing the SK4K any more. And I really used to love that watch. Just liked the SD43 so much more.

Not redundant at all.

If you're still wearing the 116600, you should keep it.
