$20,000 3 Watches 3 Different Brands

I have a budget of $20,000 and would like to purchase 3 watches. But I would like them to be 3 different brands. What would you choose? Please consider looks/style, movement, history and investment/resale. They can be pre-owned or new. Thank you.

I have three different watches and three different brands. All in my signature and should be able to get all three for close to 20k.
PS: you should be able to get the monster also.

I would grab the following:

Panerai-any model you like
Rolex-Sports model... GMT/Sub...
Rolex DJ for dress

Should have no problem staying in the 20k ballpark

Sorry mate... but I cannot possibly agree with your last comment.
I would bet anything that maybe MAYBE 2 in 100 have ever heard of AP or know/care about it.

Mine would be:
Rolex SD16600
JLC Master Calendar
Vacheron Overseas Chrono

BNIB you would go over budget but you could easily get those 3 slightly used for under 20k I think.

I would go vintage... Rolex, Omega and Patek. If you buy new, I guarantee it if you try to resell you won't get back what you paid for them.

Rolex White SS Daytona or white Exp II. (7-10k)
Jaeger LeCoultre dress watch (master Geo, calendar, reverso, ultrathin, etc) (7-10k)
Seiko Marine Master (2.5k)
Casio G shock ($100)
I threw in the G for a real beater. The above cover all the bases in style. If you get the old white explorer you can add a few thousand to the JLC and get gold. I've got a soft spot for the very under rated Marine Master. Real dive history, bold style, rugged, quality movement. It's a real WIS's dive watch.

-sub 116610lv
-tudor heritage chrono or omega speedmaster professional
-almost any jlc dress watch or an ap ro
