116613lb
I have been looking at a TT Blue Sub 116613LB. I really like the dial and bezel but I can't decide if I really want a TT watch. If the SS Sub came with a blue face and dial I would definitely buy that.
I see that all TT Subs seem to sell very slowly on this forum. Is TT just out of style right now? What do you guys think? |

The new Submariner 116613 LB is definitely a great watch. The new sunburst dial is to die for.
TT never goes out of style IMHO. |

It's personal taste, can't expect a TT to sell as well as an all SS model, the appeal for tool/sports models is ubiquitous compared to a model that has less "everyday" allure.
I'm kind of glad it doesn't sell as well actually, if my 16613 sold back in 2010 I wouldn't have had the memories I've had the last three years with it. If I ever "need" to sell it I know I can get my purchase price back and maybe a little more, it just won't sell out in a day or two and I can live with that.

It sounds like you are a good candidate for the 116619LB WG Submariner.

Does anyone have a picture of the new dial and bezel? I assume the one for sale by David in the for sale area and what my AD has is the old dial.

SS will always be more popular for tool watches like the Sub. That said, I see a lot of lawyers wearing TT, and I wear my 116613LN almost daily. Great watch.

I don't think TT watches are necessarily "out of style", but I do think there has and always will be a more limited niche in the market place for them, if for nothing else than they cost more. The more expensive a product is, usually equals less people willing to buy it.
That said, it is a great looking watch, IMO, and I think one of, if not the best looking TT models out there, any brand. |

I'd get a custom 116610 with 116619 dial and bezel. Problem solved.
