$10K Budget for New Rolex
Hi All,
3 years after buying my first Rolex (DJII, 116334) I finally convinced my wife to allow to me buy another. Looking for a sports model and leaning towards the GMT II All Black Right Choice? |

If it's what you like then it's the right choice. It would complement your DJII nicely.

GMT IIc is an amazing choice. I would also consider the Sub C reasons being that your DJ II has PCLs and teh GMT IIc also has PCL. I would get the Sub C so i would have one watch which is dresser that has PCL and another which is strictly sporty with a brushed bracelet.

GMTc LN is a great piece. Those green details are gorgeous. You can always get the PCLs brushed out if you really don't like them.

Do you like the BLNR? That is my favorite watch, even over my new Daytona C.

As you already have the DJII for more formal ocasions, I would not go with the GMTc, even though it is a fantastic watch.
But, IMHO, i think a SD4k would be a nice addition. Or, if you want some color, go with the 116610LV

If you like that design, you might consider the BLNR. Just a touch of color perhaps?

GMTII LN IMHO will be the definitive 116710 10 years from now. (Unless Rolex surprises us with a Coke bezel in steel in 2017). BLNR will have its place. Have you considered a 2006 model year 16710? You can have it with any bezel.

Good choice if you like the thick lugs; the SD4K is another nice choice and its lugs are less thick

I prefer subs but it's a toss up. The GMT LN is beautiful, I just tend to favor brushed bracelets. Obviously your call though! Either watch is amazing, just need to pick the one that sings to you.
Pre-congrats and congrats on a cool wife! |

This! Get what YOU want. Plus, if you shop around, you can find really good deals in the 6 - 7K range. The 116710LN is my first and I would do it all over again. It's just cool old school classic on a new school chassis.

Personally it'd be the blnr or Sd4k. But it's your watch... You're missing out on most of the fun, trying watches at ad. Get out there and enjoy.

Yup, BLNR and SD4K both fall within your budget but if you like the 116710LN then go for it.

BLNR is cool.
You could probably snatch mint condition pre owned 116520 Daytona on the grey market with your budget. Then again you can't go wrong with a GMT |
