GMT II BNLR backwards date change

Hi all,

Recently my wife bought me a BNLR as a gift , it has all the correct paperwork, box and serial number.

I've checked it over very closely , everything seems in place , the hand stacks and magnification are correct etc.

When moving the hour hand the date clicks over right at midnight instantly , the way it should. The only thing I noticed is when I rotate the hour hand counterclockwise (i.e. Backwards) the date rolls back a day not at midnight but at around 9pm on the watch.
Just wondering if this is normal with the GMTs or if anyone else has noticed this.

Thanks in advance .

Honestly, I never knew you could put the date back as well as forwards.

To be completely honest I figured it out by accident on my GMTII. I thought I had damaged the movement but after looking online I found it's completely normal.
