Servicing Day Date
Hi all I have a 18238 L serial President. I contacted RSC NY today and got the mailing instructions. This is the first Rolex I am having an rsc take care of. I would like to know what I should expect to pay and results, I also want a dial swap to white Roman. If the guys who have Had their DDs taken care of by an rsc can chime in that would be great. Also are there some things I need to know first?
Also pics too! Best Dan |

I'm sure the RSC can tell you what to expect to pay, and you can tell them you want a dial change. As for 'results' - you'll get back a serviced watch, and polished/refinished case/bracelet. They make 'em like new again.

I would expect them to inspect the watch and give you a quotation for the work they suggest.
So you should have some options. If the dial you want is an option for your model they will give you a price to supply and fit. They will keep the original dial. Do you have pix of your DD? My 'N' has the thin Romans with the numerals 'right way up' from 3 - 9. There may also be a white Roman dial with thicker numerals. Both should be available for your model.

If you sending it in to RSC I would suggest having someone else change the dial. I do not know if you have one yet or were wanting RSC to supply one but you should be able to source one here pretty easily. The only reason is IMO is that you will have all the original parts and a local watchmaker should be able to do the dial swap after it returns from its servicing. They will keep the original dial and I would request they not touch hands etc.
