Monaco Incoming

Whilst perhaps not the best quality watch, I’m a huge motor racing fan and love the look - so picked up a Tag Monaco Gulf today.

You should not talk it down. This is a sweet watch with some history to boost. Congratulations!

Congrats. Love that watch and if I didn’t already have a Monaco, I would be all over this. Fun watch to wear as it is very different than all the rest and other car nerds notice it more than any other watch I wear.

Huge congrats! Love the monaco and its history. Question... I'll take mine off around say 7 PM and it won't make it through the night. Usually lasts only 12 hours. I wound 40 times to test that power reserve is 27 hours. Then I wound 60 times with dial horizontal and got 36 hours. Tag website states "about 40 hours". Is this common for this calibre 11? Should I send in under warranty? Disappointed it doesn't even last 12 hours after wearing all day to work. Thanks.

Awesome! This is a great piece with an awesome history. And I can say I have never seen one of these in the wild, so even more elusive and unique!

Congrats! I think it's just about the best watch at its price point, only thing is I went to my local mall and three ADs were selling the blue calibres, guess the Rolex scarcity thing is jading me and scaring passer's by as I kept yelling at the window - but you can buy it so easily, it's right there and there and there!
