Zenith El Primero 50th Anniversary Box Set

...the good news is that the AH386 Revival will be available separately later this year

Cool fact about that set, there is a movement part hidden in the box which when presented at the Zenith factory will get you a special tour

Still $50k is a bit steep

Am I missing something? What makes the 50th so special or desirable? Looks like this current model..... more or less

No offence, but what you are missing is attention to detail. If you compare the one you pictured, the 50th Anniversary model and the original from 1969, the current model is not a particularly good recreation.

It’s unfortunate that they are only making them available as a set and not individually. $50k is a lot of money.
