Sub LV. Yes or no?
Got a call that a Sub LV arrived at my local AD.
I've had an LN before and sold it on because almost everyone seems to have one and didn't feel 'special'. Should I give it another crack with the LVC? The unique green bezel and dual has always intrigued me. What would you do? |

Well, if it's intrigued you give it a shot. Won't be difficult to move if it doesn't work out.

If you end up not liking it, you can likely flip it for a significant profit so it’s a no brainer for me.
Plus I think it stands out and has a bit more pop if that’s what you are after. |

It doesn’t sound like you’re desperately keen for the watch. However, if you buy it and don’t like it, you definitely won’t lose out selling it on.

I really don’t get the Hulk, I’ve always thought it looks garish and cheap.
If you are undecided, don’t get it just for the sake of having a hard to get watch. Leave it for someone who really wants it- however garish it may be! |

Pick it up asap! By the way, don't let the fact that others have the same make your watch seem less special. It's about you and your watch, There are thousands and thousands of others who have a hulk and that should not matter at all. If you are looking for really something special then you should start looking at brands that put limited editions. I went that route and now own a watch that only a handful will ever have...

It's not the complete uniqueness I am after. The LN was/is generally one of the more common professional SS models I've seen typically when out and about.
I originally went for the LN because it is a classic piece. However, perhaps the classic status has become a general 'must have' for everyone, even out of us enthusiasts or collectors? |

May as well pass on it. If you had to look for validation, it shows it’s not right for you. Get the watch YOU want. Not one that’s popular or hard to get.

Unique and rare seems important to you. Forget the Hulk and get the rainbow Daytona.

I have had in the past and the green becomes a bit tiresome especially if it is your one and only. But its such a hyped watch atm that you feel you have to buy because if you decide to flip you will make good money on it which is sad really.

First I passed it up because I thought that it was not unique enough. I had just about every 'unique' model possible and have only now come full circle to realize the simplistic beauty of this timepiece void of distractions. I guess it's like a fine classic wine or stock automobile. Take the original Ford Mustang, that car has been put through so many model changes but we all know that the original pony car is one that should be had. |

If you’re unsure, do the nice thing and pass on it so someone else can get the enjoyment from it at RRP.
Ps it’s a beautiful piece. |

If you want special, then you've found it! I'd say get it; life is too short to spend pondering.

As I've said the colour intrigues me, and is a play on a classic piece which I find unique.
It will be part of a rotation of six and would be a great addition to the collection. Im not buying it to flip - otherwise I wouldn't need to question it :) Thank you all for your comments |
