Is Breitling Chronomat Evolution Collectible
think the evolution is too big ????? and shiny I got one with black dial and white sub dial I'm not sure if it looks too thick and shiny with the working day dress. Need comment on that. which brand should be a second brand next to Rolex in the same level of watch. Thanks in advance. and thanks for letting me be a part of this really cool forum. Love it

I've had mine for almost one year and it has been the most accurate watch I have ever owned. Here are a few pics I took of my watch. Click for full. Of course, for about USD 1000 less than the AquaTerra Chrono you could get the Speedmaster Professional if you are looking for a bit less to spend and you don't mind manually winding your watch.

43.5 mm of complications. It's about the thickest watch I would wear on a regular basis. Are the Breitlings collectible. Probably not in the sense of some others. The Olympus (above) may be more collectible than most only because it is not quite as common as the other Breitlings. I've only found a few dealers who stock them.

I love the AT, Chip Omegas are great watches I've had a couple over the years. IMO, they are more durable and accurate than many other brands

If you're happy with the Breitling, then that's all that matters. Wear it in good health and post a pic if you can. But if you're asking which brand should be a second brand next to Rolex in the same level of watch, then my reply would be....another Rolex!! Cheers - JJ

Suthirat;
In response to your header question: 1. Why do you care? 2. Anything is collectable as long as two or more persons want it. 3. If you are looking for an appreciable investment, watches should not be your choice. Buy according to your purpose and enjoy. |
