Final Decision!! Help
I'm in the process of buying my 1st Rolex and have the final decision to make which i'm finding impossible!!
Dial Colour!! I'm torn between silver or black. I've definately decided on a 31mm DJ, SS, with a Jubilee bracelet and diamond digits. I was in my AD last night and looked at both versions and still can't decide. I really though when i saw them side by side this would make my decision easier!! What does everyone think? I have a photo but don't know how to upload (can anyone help?)! |

I would probably choose silver, because I love the monochromatic look and it also tends to make the watch appear slightly larger.

I don't know about you but the silver dial on the DJ works better for me.

I'd say silver too. I find the black dial very harsh and not so legible, but that's me.

As always with theses types of questions, only you can make the ultimate decision. Having said that, I do prefer the silver over the black!

Silver on silver would be kind of like the Platinum Yachtmaster, which I love.

They're both classics for the Datejust, so you can't make a mistake. I usually think of the black dial as more sporty. Both will look great with diamonds, and the silver gives you more of a monochromatic look and a lot less contrast.
