6538 crown & tube authentication
Hello vintage experts,
I found these in the back of the safe earlier this week. I had purchased these a couple of years ago for a Big Crown 114060 project. I was always nervous to cut a perfectly good Sub C so I never proceeded with the project. Based on these quick iPhone pics, what's the consensus on the authenticity of the OEM Rolex 6538 crown & tube? |

Both parts appear to be genuine with the emphasizes on the "sealed" packages. They are clearly characteristic of Rolex packaging.

Thank you for your response Mr Ridley. Your expert opinion makes me much more comfortable.
Now, I just need to be brave (or dumb) to grind down the crowd guard on the 114060! |
