Il Freccione - Bellissimo

Italians call it "il Freccione" (the Arrow) and Italians know pure style

Great example! Probably the most unique looking vintage Rolex dial, next to the PN Daytonas. Took me a long time to find mine. Prices are going up like crazy!

Stunning the 1655 is and yes prices are rocketing right now with the best examples fetching great prices it's so unique just the the Newman is. Watch as the prices go more higher on this piece they for sure won't be getting cheaper. Look how the plexi and cyclops do magical things with the dial and hands - the whole piece is just unbeleivably cool and stunning

Gorgeous example and yes, the epitome of style.

Quick little point of clarification on the Italian translation:
'Freccia' = arrow
'Freccione' (which is the superlative form) = BIG arrow

A very fitting moniker for this beauty. Enjoy the heck out of it!

I love mine. Both early 80s. One untouched and one lightly polished. Grabs at your ticker. Wears large for the size. A very tall watch.
