I since I already have a 14060M and 114060 I would go with the Datejust. Were that not the case, it would be the Sub.

That said, that's a 10 grand (near enough) watch and the OP I suspect is talking SS if the budgets are the same. No wrong choices, but I'd go sub at GBP 6k new compared to equivalent dj, slightly pre owned maybe different given their grey market values. In any case, it's all personal taste and one of the great things about this hobby |

They are both nice but have to go with the iconic Submariner.

I like the date just with the fluted bezel.
I prefer the fluted bezel with the Datejust

I agree with King Richard, sub c date, then datejust 41 TT. It will become apparent when owning both the craftsmanship and diversity of Rolex. Both best in class

Sub wins Classic, but the DJ 41 126333, is destined become an icon.

i went back and forth on this one forever. I have an order in on a Sub c even though I was leaning more toward the Dj41.
I figure I'd get much more wear out of the sub then the tt-Dj. I probably will get the Dj as my next watch, I just need to find the right one on the used market 5 years from now lol! |
