Air King 5500 duo tone

Hi everybody, I'm Nicola and I write from Rome. Italy.
This is my first time here and I'll write about my first Rolex. So be patient for my bad english and for my ignorance please!
I have a 5500 Air King 1717... (1967) with 1530 mechanism. It seems very good, but is steel and gold. And also with fluted bezel. Is it possible?
For sure you can see his 50 years, but it's ok and all original.
I'd like to know if it was completely "reworked" and if is still a good deal (I should pay about 1900 euros for it).
Thanks a lot!

PS let me know if you need other pics. Thanks.

Buongiorno Nicola. The two tone version of the 5500 was the 5501. Which of these numbers is on the case side, opposite the serial number? (You need to remove the bracelet too see them).

Buongiorno a te! Ref number is 5500. I think the first owner pur the bezel and so on to make it similar to a 5501. What do you think? Colud be?
Many thanks.

If the case says 5500, then it's been upgraded with a new bezel, bracelet, winding crown and probably dial and hands, too.

Really? Could it possibile?
Sorry for my curiosity: why?
I also found something on the web if you search "air king 5500 fluted bezel".
Does the watch lose value because of this? Do you think 1900 is too much? I don't care to sell the rolex, but I want yo be sure it's not a bad deal...
Thanks a lot for your patience!
Grazie!

Because the 5500 was an all-stainless steel model, and the 5501 had gold bezel, crown and bracelet, with matching dial and hands.

I would just look for an all-original 5501.

Thanks for reply. Normally I found air king 5501 from 3000 euro to 3500 euro. But it's difficuolt to find one with dark dial. I found this and seems to me very cool and also the price I tought was good (1900 euro). But I didn't know someone modified that watch. Do you think they made this changes in 60s? Thanks a lot.
