YG 1601 loud ticking

Hi all,

Question about my YG 1601 (38xxxxx). The ticking sound is a lot louder compared to my SS 1601 (also 38xxxxx) and SS 1500 (32xxxxx). Lately someone at work noticed it during a meeting and now I’m off course obsessed and in search of an answer

Does someone recognize this? Is it the different material or wear of gadgets, plexi, etc….

Thanks in advance for all the advice!

Kind regards,
Maurice

damn someone heard it at a meeting? you sure they didn't simply hear something else like a wall or desk clock? anyways just get the thing looked at by a tech to be sure there's nothing wrong.

Probably resonates more in the hollowed-out case. The gold ones are not solid ingot blocks, unlike the steel. They have empty voids where there should be gold. They were tight-fisted, even back then...

Thanks all! It's clearly louder compared to the SS one but not extreme so it's probably the non-solid block. Didn't know about the difference in blocks so learned something new: thanks Vincent!

During the meeting it was veeeery quiet and it was the collegue sitting next to me :-)
